These are free tools that suggest Halloween costume ideas and show you how to make them from stuff you may already own. Use them normally, follow the safety notes in the guides, and use common sense when building.
Pick My Costume's assistant tools recommend from a bank of 169 original, trademark-free costume ideas. For each idea they can show a materials list, step-by-step instructions, estimated time and cost, and safety notes. The tools are read-only: they give you information and change nothing.
The tools are free. There are no accounts, no subscriptions, and no purchases.
The build guides are general craft instructions, not professional advice. The safety notes in each guide reflect common-sense precautions (for example, having an adult handle sharp cutting tools and keeping small pieces away from toddlers), but no guide can cover every situation. By following a guide you accept that building a costume involves some ordinary craft risk, and you agree to use your own judgment. If something in a guide looks unsafe for your situation, skip it or adapt it.
The tools are provided as is. We try to keep the guides accurate and the tools running, but we make no promises that they will always be available or error free.
